Governance
LayerBank’s published governance direction uses $ULAB and xULAB to align long-term participants with protocol parameters, incentives and ecosystem growth.
Governance Overview
LayerBank's token design gives $ULAB a governance role, with xULAB intended to represent longer-term aligned participation. Governance can cover protocol parameters, incentive direction and ecosystem upgrades as the system becomes more decentralized.
Protocol Parameters
Lending protocols rely on parameters such as collateral factors, interest-rate curves, reward emissions and market configuration. Governance mechanisms are intended to provide a transparent process for changing these values.
Gauge and Emission Direction
LayerBank has publicly described a gauge-style model in which staked participants can influence token emissions and liquidity incentives. The exact production voting workflow can evolve, so active governance interfaces should be treated as authoritative.
